No week like the last week. Doing an European Volunteer Service is like riding a roller-coaster and being blindfolded. You are never really certain what is going to happen.
Thanks to my great hitchhiking skills I found a new student for my German classes. Also my old students finally wanted to have a lesson with me. It is always great to see your project work.
Also we were invited by the local High School to talk about everything connected with finding a job. I know from my personal experience how difficult it can be to know all the ins and outs about finding a job.
In the weekend we went to Sofia for a BBQ and to catch up with a lot of volunteers. For my journey to Sofia I had the great idea to travel in the car with my students. For saving money you can get really creative during your EVS. My students wanted me to show around in Blagoewgrad and so we did a walk around the city. The only problem was that I forgot about the bus and lost it. So now there I was standing in the bus sation and thinking about all my choices to lead me in my situation. After a failed attempt of hitchhiking I had the great idea of asking the volunteers in Blagoewgrad for a place to stay. So I spent one evening in Blagoewgrad. Finally in the next morning I made it on time to the bus and arrived with some delay in Sofia. From there I made my to the BBQ.
We spent all the day in the park. Catching up with each others project and our future travel plans.
In the evening we went totally exhausted of all the relaxing and sun. On Sunday we went back to Razlog and enjoy the first sun.
