ON THE ROAD

Jack Kerouac gave this title to his masterpiece and gave me the inspiration for a journey as well.

Not a journey to stand up and make a revolution intended to change the American society of course, but to explore as mush as i could of Bulgarian land, following the main Kerouac ideal: freedom.

8 days, 9 people and a van. Almost 2000 km to cover and supplies for less than 5 hours.

Saturday morning, after three days spent in Sofia attending the super interesting final event of IMAGINE project ( you can find everything here), we popped into the van and left.

During the trip we passed by places we couldn't even imagine, wandering around we finally saw the beauty of this country such as Belogradchik region's rocks, Devetashka caves, devil bridges hidden in the forest, ancient ruins.

I would manage to give you back, readers, the sensation. Cause in the end all the trip wasn't about visiting, to me at least, but more about feeling free to move around, to spend time with friends, to have fun and breathe, finally breathe.

I can finally say to have spent the best week since i got in BG, cause was with the people i love, doing what i love, and isn't this what life is meant for?
