24 hours in Sofia after almost 2 months in Razlog, ultimate zen area, is something destabilizing. It’s like being in a ramen bowl: chaos for sure, but good smell too. You have the feeling of being in the right place, without understanding substance and shape.
There to attend a super event for Bulgarian youngsters at St. Klimet Ohridiski University: representatives of EU parliament, headed by Mr. Tajani, will be asked about the future of the country by a crowd of local boys and girls. On paper this event couldn’t be missed, so we leaved immediately jumping into the first bus. Half way and the bus broke down, but we are not superstitious people, just the time for a brake and we were again on our way to Sofia. The University’s auditorium was astonishing, pretty similar to the Eu parliament ones that we are use to see on Tv. Floodlit and wide enough to host around 700 seats.

I won’t stop talking about the debate. Now i’m in charge to tell about our Sofia’s break out. But i’ll let you know that we had been talking at length about the how and the why of that event. About the estimated propagandistic intentions of political parties involved, about the stable generalist avoid from specific questions.
So, the debate moved into a long conversation that moved into a booze up. After all, having just one night in Sofia it’s a special deal, thank to the complicity of the hostel we were located. After a 3 liter of beer aperitif, we hung out. The rest is material of fuzzy memories, unlikely underground pubs, flashes of charming meetings.
Then a riddle, mates disappeared for hours that god knows what.
The cathedral was really nice, btw.
